I’m a dedicated Remedial Therapist with over 18 years’ experience in both independent and government schools. With a BEd and an Honours in Learning Support and Psychology, I focus on both the academic and emotional needs of each learner.I aim to create a safe, motivating space where children can grow in confidence and skill.

Study Skills Course

I offer a comprehensive study skills course
for children in Grade 4-8.

The course will include:

  • Identifying your child’s preferred learning style

  • Time management skills

  • Reading and summarising strategies

  • Looking at various study methods and how to use them

  • Different memory recall strategies

  • Understanding question words and how best to answer questions

  • A comprehensive work booklet to refer to in the future

  • Parent feedback at the end of the course

Sessions

2 x 3 hour sessions (6 hours in total)

Remedial therapy

My remedial therapy sessions strive to provide a safe, nurturing space where each child’s unique learning needs are gently supported through tailored, evidence-based strategies. Sessions are offered to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 8, and are available in either individual or paired formats — depending on what best suits the child’s needs and learning style.Each session combines structured, multisensory activities that target key areas such as reading, writing, spelling, maths, attention, and executive functioning. With a strong focus on emotional well-being, learners are encouraged, challenged, and supported in a way that fosters resilience and self-belief.Over time, children develop not only academic skills, but also the confidence and strategies they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
